In Hinduism, the "Gada" is a mace or a club-like weapon that is wielded by several deities, most notably Lord Hanuman. Hanuman is a popular deity in Hinduism and is worshipped as the symbol of strength, devotion, and loyalty. In Hindu mythology, it is said to have been crafted by the God Vishwakarma, the divine architect, and is believed to be one of the most powerful weapons in the universe. It is said that the sound of the Gada being swung in battle is enough to strike fear into the hearts of enemies. Hanuman is often depicted holding the Gada in one hand, along with a few other symbolic objects. The Gada represents Hanuman's strength, as well as his ability to crush ignorance and dispel darkness.
The Gada of Hanuman is also said to have symbolic meaning beyond its use as a weapon. The spherical shape of the Gada is said to represent the universe, and the long handle represents the human spine.
The jewels and other decorations on the handle are said to symbolize the various chakras, or energy centers, in the human body. According to Hindu belief, by meditating on the Gada of Hanuman, one can awaken the dormant energy within themselves and become more powerful and spiritually enlightened.
